Waterway Milica: the communication box for fail-safe satellite communication
The powerful Milica router from Waterway is the ultimate solution for your vessel network – in combination with our satellite communication or separately.
Milica allows you to manage all broadband satellite settings centrally in a single unit. Your communication providers – whether LTE, KuBand, KaBand or Iridium – can be linked without difficulty or major adjustments. Milica is provider-independent and enables intelligent switching between channels. WLAN management enables the realisation of separate WLANs for crew, business and guests.
Thanks to Milica, you no longer need to be worried about being offline when on board. Hardware design is redundant and fail-safe, and the enterprise-grade firewall guarantees maximum security against cyber risks. This means that you meet important IMO 2021 guidelines.
In addition to enabling secure maintenance access for suppliers, Milica also permits administration of user settings and evaluation of data across the fleet. Please ask us should you require more information.
